I have the latest bios. One other thing that's annoying me is every other time I turn my system on it goes through post and shuts down. Next boot goes to desktop, is this part of fast boot...

I'm set up with high performance under power plan and my hibernation isn't working right.

I set it up for 2 mins and it went into hibernate, after then hitting a key on the keyboard it started...

nvm i fixed it by disabling some start up programs and/or by uninstalling some things lol.

any other ideas besides using shortcuts please?

I just finished doing an in place upgrade and still can't access control panel or device manager by clicking on them after right clicking the start button.

That's what's not working..Just causes explorer to blink and refresh the desktop.

Would this bad shortcut be fixed through sfc scannow function? I mean should it be? Hmm can I do a refresh without losing anything?
