That's exactly what I just did. I used Rufus, and I used the boot menu, and I followed those exact instructions.

If you mean from the windows 10 installation, then no. I haven't gotten farther than the windows splash screen with any windows 10 installation media thus far.
Right, so, same thing has happened. Windows splash logo, no loading ring, no cursor, nothin. Anyone got any ideas?
Edit: Sorry, actually, I haven't exhausted all my option with the flashdrive yet....
I aquired a flashdrive, trying out this method now. I'll come back with results
Edit: I've downloaded it 4 times in total. I'm inclined to say it's not corrupted.

I did use power iso to burn the contents of the iso onto the disk. After several reboots the computer is still hanging on the windows splash logo, not even the loading ring is there.
