It makes little sense to have completely separate partitions for different types of files - just create one partition on your 1TB drive and make individual folders inside
If you read my post above yours, I actually said that his combo of Intel Q6600+GTS 8600 ran games much faster than my AMD A10-7800
Eh, I remember last time this card was plugged into a PC of a friend of mine, games ran quite good, albeit it may just have been a better processor, I have an AMD A10-7800 with integrated graphics...
I believe the out of range error indicates that either the frequency or the resolution passed to the screen is invalid - try lowering your resolution on the other screen (slider in display properties)
Hey, I have a quick question;
Is it possible to use my Nvidia 8600GTS card (plugged into PCIe x16, 6 pin power) without actually having the monitor plugged into it? I am currently using my AMD...
Bump
Since this affects the Windows boot operation, reckon Linux would be affected? Perhaps I could format the drive as ext4 in gparted
Perhaps you don't have the software installed to run the contents of the DVD, as in the file extension is not associated with the program?
AutoPlay usually works when you either have a autorun file...
A blue screen with rotating dots? That's the Windows loading screen, I get it everytime I boot my PC. (Not for too long, though)
Honestly I don't think it's a GPU problem, it looks like something is...
Hey,
I am currently running a Toshiba DT01ACA300 SATA 3TB HDD on my computer connected through a SATA 3G port, and the BIOS' SATA controller mode is set to AHCI.
My friend gave me an SSD (120GB...
Hello, my CPU fan runs normally and quite quietly for most of the time. However, after spending some hours on the computer, the fan spins at 1900RPM and then becomes quite loud, shaking the entire...
Honestly after the troubles with Windows 10 I may fallback to Windows 8 or even Windows 7 :)
I currently have no money to pay for a new PSU
Apart from my Thread_Stuck_In_Device_Driver BSODs and completely broken Windows Apps, I have recently stumbled across a new, very unnerving problem, that has so far only occured twice. I was playing...
Every so often (especially when I have a game and a web-browser open simultaneously) my computer will BSOD, into THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER. As far as I recall this only started happening after...
I have no option to refresh Windows within the settings, only to reset it :/
If I'm going to have to go through the pain of reinstalling everything and so on, I will definitely not go with Windows...
When I was referring to the program I actually meant the Media Creation Tool's upgrade now. That is the method I have used, and it gave me the error above.
Hey, I have taken the good ISO and ran the program, it said that 86% of it was done, and then it rebooted. I was prompted with the Updating Windows screen which reaches some percentage (19%?) but...
Do you reckon that if I entered for Insider Builds again, I'd regain my Store?
Wouldn't that remove my applications?
By the looks of things my WinStore folder is missing, but SFC did not fix it.
I've got about 1.5TB of applications installed on this system, that would take much longer to reinstall than to find some complex solution.
I have recently upgraded to Insider Builds of Windows 10, but after many errors I encountered with it I decided to roll back. I had an option to restore to the previous version of Windows in the...
