I've never heard a beep, but I have been using automatic speakers (on and off you know) and the values are
3.3 - 3.312/3.296
5 - 4.956/4.998

I just tried it and it came up with the same restarting issue as before mate. I even changed the battery (same 'spec' etc) but I'm not sure what you mean by a beep, I can access the BIOS but nothing...

The issue is I can get into the BIOS through <del> key but if I let it go past the BIOS options it doesn't load the login screen, it restarts and the process repeats never getting past the black...
