You may want to reinstall VLC. I can play all DVD's in all my W10 computers.
Also a complete power down and restart sometimes works for a lot of problems.
W10 does not come with a DVD player. Try this free software, thousands of people are using it.

You can also change the size of the recycle bin.

This was a common problem in some of the pre release versions. I had it happen to me.
Not sure if there is a fix, may be a repair install.
You may try a complete power off.
Your MB has duel CMOS you may switch to the backup.

Boot up with your install disk. When you get the install screen the lower left corner will say repair you can try this.
Shut it down, power off. Sometimes W10 resets it's self and all is well.
Search for msconfig.exe.
These were TechNet copies of W7 Pro that I never used and were installed with out any modifications. I have only used the W7 Ultimate versions and didn't want to take a chance of losing there keys.
