I already said I ran all of the procedures in your link. Are you saying you have seen this grayscale problem due to the network. If so give me more detail. I'm in the networking programming business...
It is connected via WiFi ... but what difference does that make?
I've already tried all the things in that link.
I'm not sure what you mean by the mfg. The printer is an HP OfficeJet Pro 8710.

Reinstalling the printer did not help.
As I said, grayscale is No. I'm running 10.0.17134 Build 17134. I'm doing the navigation by typing into the start menu.
I don't see black and white or color. Is there a way I can attach a...
Your procedure does not lead to the preferences. start->settings does not have devices. So I went to control panel->devices and printers. Then right click on my printer and selected printing...
My Windows 10 is printing in grayscale. My wife can print to the same printer in color. If I print to PremPDF that comes out in color. But the print preview is also in grayscale. In printer...
This is happening to me too. I loaded a fresh copy of W7 then tried the upgrade. It has been stuck all night. I brought up Task Manager and checked CPU and that is jumping around so it is doing...
These get the XP style, not the W7 nor W8 styles.
As I said earlier, alt-esc goes through a few screens but then stops working. Also it does not show a list of applications ... it just shows the non-iconized apps.
Alt/Esc doesn't do the same thing ... it only displays the apps that are not minimized.
WinKey-Tab does not expand the window like W7/W8 did. If you click on one of the apps it brings that app into focus ... it does not simply expand such that I can read it.
Alt/Esc is not the right shortcut ... it does not show all of the apps in a way that W7/W8 did. Those showed all apps plus if you move your mouse over one of them it would expand it so you could read...
It's sad when MS thinks they are doing something better but they screw up something that was really nice. Ergo they put all that work into W8 but W7 was better so they had to undo most of W8 and put...
Thanks everyone for your helpful input.
What I'm hoping is that someone knows of an addon for W10 that will display the old W7 (and I think W8) style.
What is "'Gesture' mouse button"?
Thanks, but on my system alt-esc goes through a few screens but then stops working. I suspect some apps also process alt-esc for themselves.
I recently upgraded from W7 to W10. On W7 alt/tab would expand each open application window such that they were full size when alt/tab'd or mouse'd over to it. But on W10 they do not show full size...
Fixed, thanks.
I upgraded two computers from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I just noticed today that a right click in a folder does not have anything other than New Folder under New. Windows 7 had several choices...
Oh, I notice it only happens with some web sites. So I guess I'll just not visit those sites.
I'm using Chrome. In some sites I get an annoying pop-in showing Facebook, Gmail, LinkedIn, and other clickables. I don't know any other way to explain it. I have pasted a clip of it. Is there a way...
I found that Office Professional Plus 2010 is on the system. That was probably left over from the Windows 7 before the upgrade or maybe it was a part of the Windows 10 upgrade. Now the install works....
I can't do a custom Office 2007 install because when I run the setup it immediately gives me the error ... so I can't even get to the point of selecting the type of install.
Thanks, I went there as suggested. But I don't see anything saying Groove. I see lots of Office 2010 KB's and I don't even have Office on the computer yet.
