Fifty bucks for what should be really basic Windows functionality.... :X (yes, I see there's a lite version, but it doesn't even have indexing which is almost essential for a functional everyday...

What wireless card do you have in your laptop? I upgraded mine to the Intel AC-7265 (at the time of purchase Dell was only offering the Dell 1560 for factory wireless options).
Do either of you have desktops on the same windows account? Or just multiple computers period?
