Shortcut does not go directly to the site....

Shortcut for Chrome works , but links on the page it goes to do not work.
I get "File not found" error message instead.

Drags to desktop, but same result as before.
Same thing happened in Preview builds 14971 and 14965.

Macrium Reflect shows 2GB "recovery" partition, used as you said, about 48%.

You have to reinstall from the chrome website, thereby getting the latest Chrome version. You will keep your Bookmarks automatically.

Ran this program and followed instructions. Skipped CHKDSK and SFC options. Did everything else. (Ran "Repairs" in Safe Mode, as suggested) . Took half an hour, now after reboot, getting Insider...

Actually, tried that already. It went right back to disabled after any reboot.

Evidently, anything that installs any *.Net* files can cause you to lose settings for getting insider builds.
Bummer.

Didn't want to reset or reinstall. other solutions didn't work, for me. Read that .Net might be to blame. I had Visual Studio Express, which installs large .Net files. Restored to a time before VSE...

My bad; solution only lasted until I switched back to my original account, then switched back to the new user account.
Still stuck with original problem.

Got this message under Get Insider Builds, under Settings>Update and Security> Windows update> Advanced options.
Tried "Fix Me" button. Restart changed nothing.
