Simply open up the search window, type netplwiz, and uncheck the "users must enter a user name and password on the popup window. You will have to type your password two times, but well worth it.

I also prefer IE to Edge, although I almost always use Firefox. Simply search your C drive for "iexplor", and you will find it. Drag it to the desktop...

I have been dual booting each Windows 10 build with my 8.1, never received a problem. (knocking on the fake wooden desk). I have both OS's installed on separate SSD's, maybe that is my saving grace....
Windows update installed the following driver for me: 15.200.1012.2, dated 3-11-2015. l am running Build 10049.
AMD 8150, AMD 7770, dual boot 8.1 and 10049.
