well i think i always had the recent intel drivers for this machine with 7. changing them never did much.

so it is definitely different in 10. this is a toshiba with i7-4700MQ.

same laptop, same USB 3.0 ports, same USB flash stick. but 1/3 faster in windows 10. why?

in win 7, everything is perfect. very fast boot.

i upgraded to win 10 and now that circle stays spinning a long time! eventually the desktop will appear.

then your performance will be greatly affected by the quality of your USB flash stick. i strongly recommend the SanDisk CZ88!
