Does this apply to various shortcut icons all placed in one folder?

The problem is you or at least I, can not disable the auto arrange in Win 10, whatever I do when I close the folder and go back the are automatically arranged in number or alphabetical order

No, it is a program from IOBIT.

I had same problem... fixed it on 3 different computers with this problem. Use msconfig.exe , services, and uncheck "Advanced System Care " then all computers updated properly.

As stated DOES NOT wotk in the CU ..... So still no solution for anybody with latest updates???

Anybody find a fix to disable auto arrange for items in a folder??? This is after the CU update???

now when I go to to power management , under advanced settings there is a new listing for "Processor power management". It is the first one listed...."Maximum processor frequency" ??? Default is set...

Can I just download the CU update and not install it but save it to a file?

Thanks for the advice, but I have a folder on the desktop that inside I put often used programs and folders. I like to put them in the order of importance to me.... aka not alphabetical order etc....

I have no problems on Desktop, but can not move any files in folders. Winaero does work great for changing text size and also making text bold but do not see anything for auto arrange???

I am also also using latest Classic Shell..... I have tried all reg edits etc listed on this forum and all they do is enable "auto arrange" to show so I can ck or unck it but uncked it will not allow...
