Installing the 1511 update fixed it somehow.

It was set to Enable SMB 2, which must be the default as I don't recall changing anything there. Doesn't help though.



They do. Only the combination of network + Windows 10 causes problems.

I created a new Windows and NAS account and threw all permissions I could find at it. No change.
And if it's really a permission problem then I wonder what those programs have in common.
