I really think they should've delayed release in a few ways.. I don't feel like Windows 10 is exactly ready for everyone..
A friend of mine recently upgraded to Windows 10 with the free upgrade, and his Cortana randomly opens up to the point that he can't type properly.
He's tried disabling Cortana, stopping WSearch...
It just kind of bothers me.
Is this a problem or a feature?
Oh boy.. I accidentally opened the wrong file..
I opened the setup.exe on the drive itself, not the sources folder..
EDIT: closed that after I could and ran the correct one.
EDIT #2: it said...
Thanks, I'll try that right now.
I've tried restarting the wuauserv service, no luck.
But, if this is a problem I can't fix, can I upgrade from the ISO? I don't want to do a clean install.
I remember seeing some stuff about how Windows 10 would wipe all other partitions, so I'm just wondering if that's still a problem. :sarc:
And if so, can you select which partition to install on?...
Well, my friend lost his Windows 7 key in the process of moving, and we actually forgot to copy the key off his system page while he was still on Windows 7; which is a massive, and very stupid...
Well, there is a Windows.old folder, would he be able to revert using that?
I would imagine Enterprise users that are running the Insider Preview would get upgraded for free, but I'm not sure on...
This is not my problem, it is a friend of mine's problem, and he is currently stuck on mobile as he doesn't have access to another computer (as far as I know)
He upgraded from Windows 7 Enterprise...
Thank you so much, Brink! :D
I recently upgraded to 10041, thinking after all the time spent, things would work a little better.. apparently, it didn't make things easier.
I was just wondering if I can download the 9926 ISO...
I'm really stupid, I just found the auto position function on my monitor, you really got to love when it's hidden under 'Advanced', when it only took a second and isn't advanced..
But thank you, I...
Hello everyone, I have a (I think) problem with my resolution.
There are two noticeable entirely black lines [and no, this is not my monitor making the black lines.]
There is one on the left...
