I did option three first but closed the command prompt already and have created the sfc details but its blank once again
Ok after doing option five I get the error saying findstr cannot open CBS.log yadayadayda
So basically doing option three and then doing option five?
Last time I did option three after all the restarting and it did not work , do I just go straight to five?
WHAT do you mean within windows?! this is what I don't understand
I am not clear about how to get the text document as last time it just gave me an empty text document
Should I just go to cbs .log or something like that that's what it usually says
I am not clear as how to do it in windows or in boot?
is there a tech support you guys have or just a forums so you could help me on this?
disregard that one right there^ thought the other one didn't go through
I have tried that option three ,restarting after each one still nothing,
I have done the thing saying to do the sfc three times and restart every time
In which I have done still no fix currently I am depending on this from a Microsoft technician but I am waiting for...
I will try that thank you
never mind I have figured out how to do it
But once I get to command prompt what steps would you like me to do
(after getting into advanced settings what commands do I put in?);)
How would I do such a thing if I was running win 10?
At boot?
I did the steps and I have received the file on my desktop but upon opening there is nothing there like not one letter that I can see , I did all the steps correctly and I have ran sfc/scannow before...
After running the scan I got an error saying that it was unable to fix corrupt files and after running dism component cleanup and restore health no change
Should I restart? will that effect...
