Thanks for doing the research, but I already use this Toshiba support site to download the (supposedly) correct drivers for the webcam. In fact I've tried the drivers for Windows 7. 8 and 8.1, but...
Yes I've done that several times in Device Manager, but it always reappears when I reboot of course, as the OS recognises it.

WEBCAM NOT WORKING. I have a Toshiba DX730 All-in-One desktop PC running Windows 10. Since I upgraded to Windows 10 my integrated webcam has not worked. I have unsuccessfully tried the following:-...
