Laptop with built in webcam?

Been using Amahi for a number of years on a fujitsu server with a 6tb raid array - very good it is too except when a previous version ate my 64gb usb stick with the os on!

What type of USB port is the DAC connected to - USB2.0 or 3? Is there a High speed setting in the driver software? It may be defaulting to USB 1 speeds if that's not set.

Click the view menu and then click on "Navigation Pane" - will give a list of drives on the left. Then click on where it says "This PC" on that list.

Just right click on the desktop, select gadgets and it offers to repair itself on my system. This appears to include repairing the "start with windows" setting.

notepad++ can find and replace in files without having to mess about with them. They only need to be in the same directory to do them all at once.

I use a small utility called "DiskLED" from Helge Klein for computers that don't have disk lights, mostly laptops. It mimics a small green led in the system tray for disk activity.

I have several monitors brought back from the dead with help from there.

Sounds like a classic case of capacitors drying out / failing inside the monitor. Easily replaced if you can solder.

Done the "Roll Back Driver" thing and all is OK now - until it reapplies the update for me.

My Radeon HD 3850 now stuck at 1024 X 768 after this update. Monitors are 1920 x 1080 and 1920 x 1200. - Slightly annoyed by this!
