Based on my experience...
I have v8 installed, the problem appeared.
I uninstalled v8, the problem still exists.
I installed v9, the problem still exists.
That was before a FIX was discovered....
ESET Smart Security v9.0.318.0 have just been released.

HAHAHA you know, company sales war :chuckle: ESET doesn't want you to use a FREE security suite. Don't worry 360TS is good.

How I did it:
I uninstalled ESET via Windows' SAFE MODE.
I used the ESETUninstaller found here Uninstallers (removal tools) for common Windows antivirus softwareESET Knowledgebase
I booted...
Try uninstalling your ESET first.
Download http://download.eset.com/special/ESETUninstaller.exe
Boot to Safe Mode
Uninstall ESET using Control Panel
Use the ESET Uninstaller Tool
Restart...
I just tried it now and it only works if I set "PsExec.exe" to run as administrator. Same case with SetACL.exe.
The only advantage of SetACL is that it doesn't open new windows.

Hi! So far, there are still no updates from ESET and Microsoft regarding this problem.
I was wondering, what if it is the explorer.exe that got rigged by this "ESET detecting a malware/virus" ?
