Thanks for help. I ended up reinstalling windows 10 last weekend. This lost me my easy revert of course but it has solved the printer problem.

So I understand that I unplug USB drives but internal drives will not be affected by the wipe?

Does this wipe Apps/programs from the OS drive only or from all drives?
