@Torgy no it reverts back to crash dump page, then to repair page, is it possible to get a disk to reinstall Win7? have a friend who says he can do this for me. I realize it would go back to factory...

shouldn't it be in C disk instead of D where I have nothing? I checked on link given to me by Torqy mine is out of warranty and tried doing as they said but got no further than I am

okI've now been able to get the laptop to open to recovery tools, I tried the restore option but it said no restore points and it is limited capacity so that didn't work, but the other options listed...
