    Hi,

+ If you do not need hibernation, that too would get you a couple of Gb back.

    From an elevated prompt enter:

    Code:
    powercfg -H OFF
Does this machine have two drives or is it just a single drive ?

    Cheers,

In that case it's all pretty straightforward. Thanks, Bree.

Another trick to reclaim drive space is to remove old driver packages using RAPR

You can achieve the same using the command line but this is easier.

    Cheers,

I find it pretty interesting all the advice being given when nobody has seen the actual status of the drive. @kazzi287, if you would be so kind to post a screenshot of your disk management, we can give you accurate advice rather than just guessing about things.

Depending on what we see on disk management, you will probably be able to use MiniTool Partition Wizard to transfer some of the space from D: drive to C: drive:

Yes for some reason there's several apps that I am not able to store on the d drive like iTunes (after I partitioned the drive for my space I deleted all apple products from my computer and then reinstalled which enabled me to store it to the d drive and it works now). I think I'm going to have to try that with a lot of the other apps. For example watch ESPN, Xbox, Netflix
