I suggest you research that process. There's almost nothing on this forum about it, so it's not a familiar problem. What is evident from searching the internet is that others have seen it related to disk activity.

    Further simple steps:
    1. Does this happen if you do a clean boot?
    2. If not, enable more until it does occur.
    3. Try to reach a conclusion.

I've given you two other possible steps previously.

There is probably a better answer out there, but it will take a bit more persistence.

Holly smokes, do you really need all of that running all the time ?
4GB of RAM can easily be clogged up with so many things running and disk can get pretty busy swapping memory.

there is only 3 on there that need to stay on which is AMD Catalyst for your graphics & the 2 HD audio but even 1 of them can be turned off

Can you now show msconfig / services - & tick the box to hide all Microsoft services

With Skype & Microsoft 1 Drive you can turn them off within their settings.

Also 8gb of ram may be better as your pc may be using your hard drive to perform operations if your ram is full ?

    clean boot:

RAM is only 36% used according to a previous screenshot. To reduce disk usage, you need to focus on the process that's using it.

Most of the stuff in the panel were on the computer when I bought it. Exceptions: Seagate Dashboard, Skype, Logitech Download Assistant. And, yes, memory can get taken up. I have little expertise with the remaining items, which were I thought, system startup modules. As for Chromium, I have set it to Disable.

I would keep only 2, 4, 7 and 8, everything else you can start when needed, no need to run all the time.

& if you don't use "7" you can switch that of on the hidden icons in the taskbar in onedrive settings telling it not to start at all as it's just a waste of resources if active for no reason.
