This is an interesting patch, didn't go through all the process but it seems it could be a solution.

Hey guys going to revive this thread.

I was able to successfully install Windows 10 on all PC and laptop here, including an MSI Wind U100, except for one laptop, with an Intel Pentium M 725. It is currently running Windows 7 and I think it would be great with Win10 but unfortunately this CPU doesn't support NX at all. I faced the NX compatibility issue with many PC laptop here and was able to use the BCDEDIT /Set nx always ON, but for the laptop the issue is real.

Anybody was able to successfully make Windows 10 run on a PC without NX ?

Soo... Please read carefully what i've wrote. Commands like bcdedit nx always ON or simmillar ones, won't give anything... it is only good if motherboard and processor are capable of NX bit but BIOS isn't (even it this situtation still it doesn't work always).

About youtube tutorial you posted... I've answered for that in my last post. THERE IS NO POSSIBILTY TO OPEN FINAL VERSION (doen't matter witch build) OF WINDOWS 10 IMAGE/CD WIM FILE, it has been rebuilded to be not openable. therefore the step with ImageX won't work and will stop you in this moment.

For now there is no possibility to rexctract it.

Somwhere bettween all of this i also get code 5 while tring to install windows (even 7, 8 and 10) heres solution -> UNAWAVE - Code 5 Error whilst booting Windows 7 DVD

In the end i've replaced motherboard with cpu ~ 15$ for good motherboard and cpu + cooler.

I have it running on an old T2390 1.8 GHz Dell Laptop. Don't use it that much but there have been no issues, so far.

I have installed Win 10 Pro and running insider version on this desktop, no issues and quite fast as well, CPU dated 2006.

Thanks jach0o for the info that saved me precious time. Unfortunately I don't think I can replace the motherboard on that laptop.

For the others, run coreinfo and check if nx is enabled.

    Windows 10 compatible AGP cards

Hi, I read this post with interest because my pc is getting on a bit now. I have upgraded from win 7 pro 32 bit and everything is good, infact I would say performance is improved. However, I have poor graphics performance and would like to get a compatible AGP card as these are cheap now. Also, I have a faulty Nvidia GeForce 7800GS+ 512MB card, if I can get another of these all would be good but is it compatible?

The people who have upgraded earlier in this thread say all is ok Can you tell me if you used a AGP card and its specs?

    Currently on:
    CPU: AMD Athlon FX53 (940) 2.4Ghz
    Memory: 4GB
MB: MSI K8 dual socket 940, AGP only.
VGA: AGP - Nvidia FX5950 AGP with 96.85 winvista drivers from NVidia website. Win 10 just installed the standard display adapter until I installed the new drivers.

I am willing to try some suggestions.
