    Errors discovered after anniversary update V.1607 build 14393.10

    Hello everyone,
    I installed dual boot version of windows 10 pro 32 bit V.1607 build 14393.10, as an upgrade and the other as a clean installation.

    In clean install,
    The strange thing I found is that the users I have 3 folders <My account> <default (hidden)> <defaultuser0>
    it's normal?
    While in the updated version is not present <defaultuser0>.

    Error in clean install:
    evnt error: Search id 3104 Gatherer
    Could not enumerate the user sessions for the generation of the filter pooh.
    Details: (HRESULT: 0x80040210) (0x80040210)
    and
    DistributedCOM id 10016
    Settings specific permissions settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
    {8D8F4F83-3594-4F07-8369-FC3C3CAE4919}
    e APPID
    {F72671A9-012C-4725-9D2F-2A4D32D65169}
    to the user NT AUTHORITY \ SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18) address LocalHost (via LRPCs) running in the CIS of the applications container Not Available (Not Available). To change the security clearance, you can use the Component Services administrative tool.

    Error in the updated version:
    Event ID 4401
    Source: EFS
    Message: 7,488: The EFS service could not run the provisioning of a user for enterprise data protection.
    Error code: 0x80070005. (I have no one game or app. on another drive that is referenced by the C)
    and:
    DistributedCOM id 10016
    Settings specific permissions settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

    I'm also having this issue. On a clean install of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, it creates 3 separate folders under C:/ Users. Default (hidden), defaultuser0, and then the local account which I created. I've posted about it here:

    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...=1470350175790

    I've also called tech support but even the elevated level 2 tech support staff don't have any answers. It's very frustrating!

    The hidden Default user is correct (it is copied when you create a new user). It should be left as it is.

    The issue with Defaultuser0 is not exactly new in Anniversary Edition - it has been in the last few insider builds also. It happens if you clean install and create a user without a password (there may be some other cases that cause it too but I have only got it if I create the user without a password). It isn't a problem I don't think as long as you can sign onto your account - you can just delete the folder from C:\Users which is what I did. Having read the link in post 2 I've also run net user /delete defaultuser0.

    The DCOM error with 8D8F4F83-3594-4F07-8369-FC3C3CAE4919 is discussed here Local Activation Permission - Windows 10 Forums and has a fix (deleting a registry key) that seems to work. Alternatively you can just ignore it. Not sure about the other errors in event viewer - I don't have the 3104 search error on a clean install though...
