System Reserved Partition Question
My system reserved partition keeps expanding!! How do I limit the size?
I have checked the forums and internets but not come up with a clear answer
A few days ago MS disk image failed because there was not enough free space in the system image partition for the shadow copy. The existing 100mb partition was 98% full.
I expanded the partition to 250mb and everything was fine.
I looked today and the 250mb partition is now 80% full at about 200mb. It seems to be a relentless blob devouring my SSD.
I can of course keep enlarging the partition but would prefer to some how limit it. My understanding is that the actual boot sector files are no more than 30mb so what keep expanding into the remaining space.
System is Windows 10 pro/4GB RAM/240GB primary boot SSD with 250mb "system reserved" partition with the remainder a second OS partition. Both partitions are NTSF. System has 3 other data drives of varying size installed.
Is there any administrator tool or registry change I can make to resolve the issue?
