    Hi there

things like Windows.old (previous windows installations), internet temporary files, aborted application installations etc could use up HDD space.

Use TREESIZE (free) to check for HDD files, directories, HDD usuage etc.

For a super clean - use option 2
Disk Cleanup Option Two: To Open and Use Extended Disk Cleanup

This option does not show you how much space is used by the list item, but it does deep clean your system.

Did just that - And It didn't go away.....

But, the issue was resolved when I manually deleted the files I found using that tree program.
It was a huge dump of win10 update files. Go figure.

If the OS crashes, you might find pagefile.sys is increased to the size of your installed memory. There is a registry fix to reset the page file size - see my post at http://www.eightforums.com/performan...ter-crash.html

Another great little cleaner to use after disk cleanup: Download UnCleaner - MajorGeeks
