    Possible Water Damage?

Hello all, I wanted ask is it possible for moisture from a slightly opened freezer to have accumulated in my room so much that my device may have been affected by it?

To be more specific would it have caused any form of corrosion, or electrical damage, like, at all?

My device had been on overnight, and the windows of my home were closed. Presumably, the freezer at the time had also been open during that time as-well. The freezer is only 20 or so feet across the room to where my PC is situated.

Would there have been enough fluid in the air to do any damage while my computer was on for that duration of time? Could the freezer being open at time also potentially cause power outages, or anything of that nature?

I doubt there would be enough humidity to cause problems with a PC.

Also, I don't think the freezer being open would cause any power outages.
It may raise your electric bill a LOT, as it tried to bring the whole room down to 32F.

That's a relief to hear, but as for the electricity bill, how much is a'lot? I normally pay 13-16 per month. The fridge itself isn't particularly big or strong.

I would relax. Even if there was enough moisture in the air, the fact that the computer was on would have generated enough heat to prevent condensation inside it.

Even better, though I did neglect to mention I had cooling pad beneath it. But i'm assuming that shouldn't create any problems either, right?

Even so, the interior should have been warmer than the surrounding air.

Not much... just like 2-3 air conditioners, left on all night.

    Listen...

    Cooler components run longer.

Good to have a temperature and humidity monitor in the room anyway. It's so cheap.

I'm sorry...? But I fail to understand the levity of the comparison. I haven't used air conditioning ever before, so I cannot gauge any detail of cost from that reference.

Are we talking upwards of dozen's of dollar's to a hundred? I would really appreciate a straight forward answer in that regard.

Not much. maybe at worst $25 total bill, if it's normally $15.
