    Is this normal?

So, I have a new computer, two days old, haven't downloaded anything but avast. Never clicked on a suspicious link etc.

I've noticed something that keeps occurring, however. On the blue shut down screen for windows 10, right before my computer logs off, the screen briefly flashes white; only once, for a moment. The computer then shuts down. It boots just fine and it works beautifully, but this is one oddity.

I have been forced to return one other computer, which had the same exact oddity occur. It was an HP Notebook, and this problem occurred many times when it shut down. I thought it was normal, until I came home from school to find an unusable computer, it wouldn't let me log into my computer, and when it did, everything was wiped off the computer. I could not even open the start menu. I'm not sure if the screen flashing white before it shuts down is a normal thing for Windows 10. Has anyone had this before? I searched online and it was fruitless.

Is it perhaps because the computer is cheap? I'm not in a good situation right now, but I never thought a budget-friendly computer would break in a mere two day. A friend of mine has used cheap computers with no problems at all. :/

Note: This is an ASUS, so it's a completely different laptop from the HP. So it can't be a manufacturing problem.

That white flash may be just GPU or other driver shutting down, shouldn't be an indication of malware.
