CPU usage in the right side of taskbar.

Hello. I've been a Windows XP user for more than 8 (yes, eight years :) and today I received my new Win10 laptop.
There is this feature in Windows XP where you open Windows Task MAnager with ctrl+alt+del, go to Performance tab, and it shows you a real-time graphical indicator of the CPU load. It spikes when starting a program, it gets idle when doing nothing, etc. I absolutely love and got used to this. You could check in the tools menu an option to Display in task bar. So with this option checked, you hit ctrl+alt-del than you minimeze the windows instead of closing it, and the dynamic CPU load appears at the bottom-right of the taskbar (near the clock).

If somebody more knowledgeable has a bit of time, I would be very grateful if you can help a newbie with windows 10, get something like this (using simple stept by step procedure) . I want to see all the time, how to the cpu is doing. Thank you very much in advance.

I attached an image to make it more clear what I'm talking about here of my windows xp machine: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

    Hi @Traian Mechenes, welcome to tenforums.com! :)

Open Taskmanager, then drag the icon from the System Tray and drop it on the Taskbar next to the clock.
Unfortunately, you have to keep Task Manager open.

Type Task Manager into search, right click on the task manger result, and select, " Pin to the taskbar" It will place an icon on the left side of taskbar. I am not sure if that's what your looking for, but it will be one less click to open and view task manager.

Thanks. I did it the way you suggested. I do have to open the task manager and let it open but it works.

If you don't want Task manager to occupy the taskbar, just click options -> hide when minimized.
