    You can try Macrium Reflect.

Buy an external USB hard drive or a large (64GB or more) flash drive.
Use Macrium Reflect as rpo mentioned to create the backup image.
Use Macrium to also create a rescue disc or flash drive so if you ever need to restore it, you're ready to go.

You cane easily do this with the built-in Windows backup function: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Backup and Restore (Windows 7).

Another option that is quick and easy is Clonezilla. It is also free and works perfectly with Windows 10. I just completed cloning mine and only takes about 15 minutes.

Macrium Reflect is ideal but backup to an Image, it will always be there for you to re-load.

I use it extensively in my support work
