    Windows Explorer Question

So whenever I want to attach a file to an email for instance and I go to browse thru Windows Explorer, it literally will just sit there "We're Working On It" and it takes a few moments to come up. Any idea what could be causing this? I have 2 256GB SSD's so I hope they're not on their way out.

    Thanks

Hi, could you clarify how you manage your email?

Are you using a browser? If so, which?
Are you using an email client? If so, which?

When did you first notice this - the first time you tried to do this after installing Win 10? - or was it ok, then started happening?

    Thanks!

Meanwhile, suggest you try downloading and installing
    Shellexview (freeware).
Hide all MS extensions (else you'll have problems)
    Disable all others
    See if your symptom remains.

Sounds like you have network shares / devices that don't respond in a timely mannor. Old shares, media devices. Unplug has many USB devices and remove devices

Look in -- latest name :) -- this PC and see what's there.

If you have a very large folder (e.g. 1000s of images, or 10,000 of other files), then it will be slow opening the folder. Network drives can certainly affect the speed, esp if you have not accessed a network drive for a long time.
