I was just looking at the device manager and there were a couple of drivers not up to date, so I'm going through all and checking every single one of them. Is there a faster way of updating all of your computers drivers or checking to see if they're out of date? The only way I know is by right click and Update Driver Software, or downloading one of those thousands of "boost your computer" speed stuff that will say they will update drivers, do any of those actually work?

And I can't tell where the beep is coming from. When it beeps it finally shuts off completely, I thought it was part of the computer shutting down, sounding a beep to let you know it's off. It's an Asus n550jv, I can't find anything on a "beep" when shutting off.
No do not use any third party driver update software as it will do more harm then good. Told you before if you checked with ASUS as i see that as the listed manufacturer of your PC in your specs here for updated drivers. Let me look at what is available, not going get a boost in performance by updating drivers, would say proper performance with right drivers, truthfully find at times some drivers cause issue as it can be with you and yours. Did PC always beep when shutting down even with other operating system ? Is it loud or more then one beep ? Sometimes what sounds like a beep may npot be one only you can tell, just maybe certain devices powering down.

Sorry somehow i assumed this was a Desktop PC as i did not notice for one laptop listed in specs and graphics card to realize it was one.
These ASUS i believe have all there drivers in this ATKPackage (For Windows 10 Upgrade), if you used this dated one you are fine, there are some other updated drivers for other devices you can update or use if needed. Do not worry about BIOS update as of yet.

Knowing it is a Laptop changes some thoughts on this issue a bit.

As far as I was concerned all of the drivers were up to date. The main one that updated was the Intel HD 4600. Then there were a bluetooth driver, some Radio Wireless Control, and other less common drivers. When I first upgraded to Windows 10, I went to the Asus website itself and downloaded the drivers from there directly because the touchpad was having issues. After that everything worked like a charm.

I'm not sure if the beep happened before, I can't remember a time without a beep but then again this has been happening for quite some time.

After updating drivers, removing old stuff, cleaning it a bit, it's gotten a lot quicker but it still takes some time. It goes to the black screen a lot quicker but then takes a few minutes to beep and shut off the power. I then checked the system even viewer and only got 5 errors (woo!).

    The following errors:
1 of them was the same distributedCOM error

    4 Service Control Managers error:
    - User Data Access_70bec2 service terminated unexpectedly
    - User Data Storage_70bec2 service terminated unexpectedly
    - Contact Data_bec2 service terminated unexpectedly
    - Sync Host_bec2 service terminated unexpectedly

The 4 service control manager errors have the exact same time stamp and event ID 7031. The distributedCOM has event ID 10016.

Read my link above this one. I get a lot of Event viewer warnings and errors i believe a lot are due to Windows 10 especially Distribution Com one, be concerned for certain critical marked errors and which critical or errors they are. Have to check the other ones you did list, as data access has me wondering. If go to the right on Event Viewer and use copy and paste put into a notepad be able see more details.

I had the ATK package. I followed your link just to be sure and when i ran the setup it only had a repair and uninstall option, so I went with the repair, everything went smoothly.

Here is the Data Access underneath. I've seen a Font Cache 3.0.0.0 error, SQLEXPRESS error, and a Winnit. Not sure if those mean anything.

Repair or uninstall options meant they were already in there, it's o.k. it only ends up overwriting them.

Error just stating it shutdown unexpectedly, why, i am not sure. Not sure has anything to do with your slowness on this laptop.

I'll read through that entire post on those 4 service control manager services tomorrow. Those 4 errors I got on this last shutdown. Usually there is a timeout error with Font Cache and SQLEXPRESS.

Mean not getting any BSOD's ? Hard to determine some causes of these errors and how and if there are even actually related to your issue or some other even though they show up now. If these errors are that serious you may get a BSOD and will create a minidump file which will then be able to analyze and debug.

Can try a System file checker to make sure you have no file corruption.
At Admin command prompt copy and paste this, then press enter let it finish

    sfc /scannow

Same open command prompt copy and paste this press enter, let it finish

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

reboot after they are both done.
