But wouldn't you say that it adds to the awesomeness of the mystery if you can't understand or solve it?
Perhaps for you personally as your problem has resolved...however, for someone struggling with the same issue, knowing the actual solution would be great. So it would be awesome to actually know the solution to your problem.

Well I'm glad you had an awesome week with it booting rapidly. There was a big update yesterday, I wonder if you are now on build ver 10586.122 and some of your settings were reset? Another mystery to solve! :)

Well the hibernate I can't enable, just gives an unexpected error has occurred (0x65b).
And fast startup is already enabled.

The quickest way to enable hibernation is to close the power settings window and then hit Windows+X and open Command Prompt (Admin). At the Command Prompt, type the command:
    powercfg /hibernate on

God damn it, I think I'll have to reinstall W10.

I am having the same issue with my Samsung Series 7 Chronos updated to Win 10. It's taking about 1 to 2 minutes to boot up; same symptoms as described in the OP's 1st post. I was able to fix it if I go to the Samsung's SW Update and reinstall all the drivers as Administrator from the Dos command line. I think it's the AMD driver. If I uninstall the AMD Catalyst drivers from Control Panel, it boots up very fast. If I reinstall or update the AMD driver, then I have the boot up issue again.
