    Sleep Mode Turns Unit Off

When entering Sleep Mode the computer is turned off.
Performance indicates that Sleep Mode is set for 30 minutes which I have not used, but when I leave my computer and manually select Sleep Mode is when the computer is turned off.
I checked the network adapter for the "allow this device to wake the computer" and all were unchecked
How do I get Sleep Mode to go to sleep with a manual setting?

    Hi cyclone3211 ,

You will have to change the settings in the Power Options to fix the issue you are experiencing.

    a. Open Power Options by clicking the Start button, > Settings clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Power Options.
    b. On the Select a power plan page, click Change plan settings under the selected plan.
    c. On the Change settings for the plan page, click Change advanced power settings.
    d. On the Advanced settings tab, expand Power buttons and lid, click on Power button action.
    e. Click on Setting, select the option Sleep.
    f. Click on Ok.

This will solve your problem. Good luck!

Thank you for your comment. I tried that and also setup my own Power Option Profile. After doing that there was no change. When I select Sleep from the menu the computer turns off completely.
I also selected Hibernate which did not show up in my Profile. Does Hibernate work in Win10 because it did not in Win7?
BTW, I am using Win10 Pro
