    Windows 10 Disk Usage 100%

    Hey :)

For some reason, my disk, when i open my computer and at some other point, always spikes up to 100% for a few minutes.

    This happens when :

at the start, Something called System and compressed memory always make my pc go to 100% disk usage. Later on, there are all those Service Host going up to 100% and something called RzStatsManager

When i open norton or when i download something new it also goes to 100%, each time I open google chrome too and Steam make the disk go to 100% at the start and every time i open it it goes to 20% and the system memory goes to 80%

All these times, the disk spiked at 100% for a few minutes.

I disabled all my notification, each time i open my PC i disable Windows search and superfetch but it spikes up every time. What can I do?

    Thanks

First thing I would recommend would be filling out your system specs so we can more efficiently help you. Follow this tutorial here, if need be: System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums

Open Control Panel > System and Security > System Information. You can click File and save it to a text file to open with Notepad. You can then copy/paste into your system specs here. TC

Get the free version of Revo Uninstaller and follow the instructions. You can, if needed, do a forced uninstall . Follow instructions.

Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

Open task manager. Go to detail view. Find the running process Rzstatsmanager.exe. (or whatever it is called) Right click on it. Open file location. That is where it is. That is what you put in Revo Uninstaller as a Forced Uninstall. Post a screenshot of the files location.

And glad you found the system specs. copy/paste them into the system specs here. That way they will be available on any post you make, not just this one. System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums - Windows 10 Forums

There is no RzStatsManager anywhere in the task manager.

The thing is though, sometimes norton tells me that Rzstats IS making the disk going at a high percentage but it's nowhere on the task manager

Please post screenshots of your task manager
    a. highest CPU use at the top (click the CPU tab)
    b. highest disk use at the top (click the Disk tab)

To find this RzStatsManager if it exists as such on disk, download and install Everything by Void tools, let it index everything (pretty quick) and then use it to search for RzStatsManager.
