    Hi,

I just ran Ccleaner just to see what happens. It deleted 87Mb of temp files.
When I relook at Storage etc., temporary files it has actually grown bigger.

    Cheers,
You don't know though (nor do any of us).

We don't know what CCleaner deleted (if anything).

You are also making an assumption that Piriform is more competent than Microsoft. We don't know what Microsoft Disk Cleanup deletes. We don't really know what TFC deletes.

I think @OldMike65 might be right (MS reads the folder description rather than the contents). But this is based on what? Again an assertion.

I have to say though, sorry guys, I can't get into looking around for 100MB that is incorrectly reported.

Either you know where it is "(C:\<some>\<path>\Temp\MS forgot me") or not.

No picture? Don't know what path has been cleared out?

    It doesn't exist then.

Sure we do, it creates a list of what has been removed. Checking against the partition properties that seems roughly accurate.
Storage properties in settings however clearly is NOT. So far off the mark that it even isn't anywhere close to reality.
I don't assume anything but the facts speak for themselves though.

Run CCleaner in a debug mode:

    Code:
    <path to CCleaner> /debug
    See what it will delete.

Yes, Windows Disk Cleanup in Windows 10 did nothing except deleting old Restore Point and emptying Recycle Bin.

Had a chance to run TFC, and unfortunately it did not solve the problem either. Since this not seem to be hindering the PC's performance I great deal, I will accept it as a mystery and move on. As one of you correctly pointed out, just because it says that there are all those temp files does not necessarily mean that they exist. Thanks for all of the suggestions.
