SFC stops at 1%, DISM error 1392, dll error

Hello. After manually installing Threshold 2 AVG PC TuneUp reported errors on my C: disk, so I performed a chkdsk. The system rebooted, naturally, and chkdsk took a very long time, always stuck at the same percentage. CristalDiskInfo reports no error at all times. After the completion of chkdsk, after 9 hours or more, I got an error of mscorwks.dll (0xc0000020).

I assume that either the filesystem or the physical disk are bad. So I try running a SFC, but it stops at 1% saying that it cannot perform the action. I try with DISM and it also stops near the beginning reporting error 1392.

Any ideas on how can I proceed? I don't want to wipe my system

EDIT: I just tried DISM toolkit from this forum, with the image mounting option, and also error 1392, file can't be read.

    Here's the log:

They tried to get rid off it but every time they did it came back

You're talking about uninstall TuneUp and run SFC again? I've never have a problem with TuneUp and SFC at the same time, I'm sorry but to me it doen't make any sense as I don't see how that can interfere, but I will try nevertheless.

Thanks for the suggestion mate :)

Yes only a suggestion but may help in your case, also they may not of updated to latest version yet and that is why you could be having trouble.
Either Bing or Google PC Tune up and see what others have to say about it.
I myself run Auslogics Boostspeed 8 and that has just been updated to latest version since TH2 was downloaded and gives me no trouble at all it is not free but in my mind it is well worth the money.
Have it on all my systems as well as driver updater made by same firm

What DISM commands have you used outside of this toolkit?

I haven't done anything weird with TuneUp, I've been using it before it was AVG. I only use it to clean registry and things like that.

Have you got the latest version of PC Tune UP
Because if not up to date that may be causing your problem as well.

You are I take trying to run SFC etc from command Prompt (Admin) as that is what you are suppose to use

Yes of course, SFC and DISM directly from CMD.

Ok just checking as we have had some on another forum try without doing that.

So disable or uninstall PC Tune up to see if you can now run both those commands.
If you cant then try and run trouble shooter as that sometimes can find and repair the problem
