You could try this method, its for windows 7, but still should work for windows 10. Seeing how you just made an image backup, if you mess something up, you can restore everything right back, and try again.

Without making some changes in your registry, don't think so. Also could try making a NEW user account, with your name, and make sure the new account has Admin status.

In c drive are you talking about as I already have an account with administrative rights. When modifying HP in c drive I put in the same name on the HP folder and then went into group policy. And set it as administrator now when I go to personalise it says the file does not have a program associated with it arrrrgggghhh.

That's amazing how can they do it for free? Is there ads on it?
There are no ads, it is not malware. It is Linux based Open Source project. The installer is also open source. There is nothing wrong with using it, which is actually one of the faster imaging tools out there.

Sometimes you have to keep going through different tools, until you find one that works. One hard drive that was failing on a laptop that I replaced with a new hard drive. I had to use EaseUS ToDo Workstation, to do a Sector by Sector back up, so that I could also shrink the inage down to a smaller size.

I have another problem, I am not getting notified of emails on computer. I have answered every post from my phone apart from 1 where I was in the mail app and seen it. I am taking it back tomorrow, they can repair it user name Etc. It's only a few months old, I wanted 10 professional but my Dell computer was on it's last legs. Two new hard drives. Then the display went. I decided it would be cheaper buying a new one as something else would happen to it in the not to distant future.

hollyoajs77, now is the best time to buy. Some computers last linger then others.

I have a 25 year old Toshiba Satellite laptop, that still works. I had to put in a nee hard drive and upgrade the RAM. But only use it when I am doing something outside in the garage or downstairs.

Yes my HP is my new computer mate. 25 years old. That's great. I might get my Dell sorted after Christmas. So I have a backup. Thanks mate. Paul.

    Hi,

Thanks I have printed that out I have one last question. I had my computer in for repair and it's now saving everything to HP users. Even though I have changed myself to administrator and I can't see HP as a user. When I go into users ad or edit, it's only me that is there! How do I get rid of HP as a user? Attachment 51355
If that bothers you, you can change it quite easily by opening up explorer, selecting the documents folder, properties, location.
You can then change the address of that folder to whatever you fancy for as long as the location is physically available.
For instance, mine is set to point to partition D:\. I did the same for all the folders that save content to the drive: Download, Pictures etc.
If you just want these to point to a different partition you could do this through "Settings" > "Storage" too.

As for the .xml file Macrium Reflect want to use to identify the backup you made, it's not really necessary. it's just a convenience whenever several backup copies are kept in the same location..

    Cheers,
