    Windows 10 Speed


    I had Windows 7, but after downloading and installing Windows 10, it became so slow. Anyone can help?

    You may need to do a Windows 10 Clean Install. I have done it and once I knew for sure I didn't want Win 7 any longer I then deleted my Windows.old folder and my system runs nice and fast!

    Check and see what your Power Plan / Performance level is set to. I believe it's within Power Options.

    Have you run Ccleaner that gets rid of a lot of crap and also a defrag has your files could be all over the place.
    That will slow computer/laptop down.

    I would follow Basenco's advise and do a Clean Install.
    Keep nothing, no crapwares etc. Start fresh.
    It might be a pain to reinstall the programs you had, but if you want the system running properly...................
