Hmm, I just noticed on the top PS option and the x86 one neither showed Admin but I did run both as Administrator. I ran the ISE and it shows Admin along the top. I'll try that command now and see what it gives me. And i get less error messages but still getting something in output that isn't right.
I only see .net 4.5 and 4.5.1 installed, nothing earlier. And am just wondering if this is because of updating to Windows 10 from Windows 7 Home Premium preserving what I had installed. Most programs I run are working just fine. I haven't tried running everything in my A-Z listing but those I use work fine. Just bizarre is all in regards to monitor turning on by itself (which I was assuming was due to original topic mcupdate and mcupdate_scheduled).

You could try repairing .net (as a guess only) Download Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool from Official Microsoft Download Center.
Even if you can't find these tasks as Get-ScheduledTask doesn't work you could still try to delete them with Unregister-ScheduledTask. You never know.
I saw a similar powershell error here windows 8 - XML Errors in the Task scheduler - Super User due to corrupt tasks. They suggest deleting the tasks from C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows and restoring them from the .wim in the installation ISO.
You could have a look in this directory and see if there are any mcupdate* tasks there and delete them if there are. I don't, but then I did a clean install anyway.
Interesting. I just looked in that directory path and low and behold there is a Media Center folder. Is this able to be deleted now that the system was updated and there is no MC in Windows 10? If so that'd be one more thing to check off the list. Something is being scheduled and that's really what I want to locate and disable/remove if it's not a re-occuring one.
Also, I looked in WindowsUpdate and there is a Scheduled Start file with a timestamp of 2:47am tomorrow morning (10/17), what a coincidence eh? That's around the time the monitor goes on. I have maintence set for 8am but apparently there's someplace else that's defaulting the time to early morning hours. I'll look in Task Scheduler to see if I can modify the time there as well. Anyways, don't bust your brain on tonight, you've given me some more food for thought on areas to look at.
Also, how would you restore tasks from that folder on the installation ISO disc? I suppose I should read up on this .wim directory now as well. Thanks for the info dude!
