Well this is what Eset looks like when it's running and finding the crap , it's exactly the same app, if your scan found nothing and the boxes that i showed in the screenshot were ALL ticked then congrats to you.

If you forgot to check all of them Eset will not find this stuff , i do know that .

Oh yeah, google tool bar is quite harmless bty.

I still hate it and will engage it in a battle to the death , it has been a foe of fredc for quite some time and one of us must die.

When I look up at my IE 11 I can see MY Google tool bar right now, lol been running it fer years as a backup to my Bing search. Also fredc I use Chrome as my 2nd browser. :)

Well , i feel better now , getting the A OK from old Mike does make me feel better , i still hate the google toolbar though.

I'm with you frdc, I try and keep as much google stuff away as I can. This is disconcerting. (scan is still running)
