    My thought is simple.

If the so called Junk is not impacting your storage in a major way, I would just leave it.
You can't be sure as to what McAfee would clean exactly and I would like you to pleasantly celebrate your 89th birthday!

After all, Mark Twain famously said:

    Clean out

Thank you all for the advice...and I think what some of you say is true...If it isn't broken don't fix it,
and in my case "If it isn't so badly broken, that you can't live with it like it is, don't fix it."
Us older guys have learned "Lowering your standards is not a bad thing."

The computer can accumulate a huge amount of temporary files and used upgrade files that can slow down the computer.
Why not use the Windows Disk Cleanup (%windir%\system32\cleanmgr.exe)? Select all options and run it.

I can guarantee that Disk Cleanup (%windir%\system32\cleanmgr.exe) won't delet any of your files.

    Megahertz is correct.
Your own files will not be deleted.

    There is detailed guidance in
    Disk Cleanup - TenForumsTutorials
if you want it. If not then just trying it, as Megahertz suggested, is very safe & very easy.

    All the best,
