    Calendar Appears Then Disappears

The title says it all: When I try to boot up the Calendar app, it appears briefly only to disappear just as quickly. I don't even have to time to really look at anything.

I'm running Windows 10 Home Edition version 21H2 on my Lenovo laptop.

I tried restarting the computer, but that didn't help.

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi, history, please:
    - do you know when this started?
    - if recently, have you tried using a System Restore point?
    - what happened before this started?

    See:
Fix Mail and Calendar app crashes on opening in Windows 10 - TechCult

    Have you tried
    a. a clean boot (Google or see tutorial if unsure how)?
    b. creating a new user, logging in as that user, then seeing if this happens?
(this discriminates between general Windows issues and issues specific to a user profile)

    See:
Reinstall and Re-register Apps in Windows 10
    - have you tried that?

The forum prompted you to use winver. 21H2 is not a full build number.

    Hi Dalchina.

Thanks for those ideas. I tried restarting my laptop, as well as doing a system restore to two different dates, all of which did nothing at all. Finally, I just gave up and switched to the Google Calendar, which seems to work fine. I'm still curious as to why the Microsoft Calendar began acting that way, though.

Thanks again for your time and effort in making those suggestions!

Did you try resetting Calendar as per the article I posted?

    Or re-registering/reinstalling them? (Details provided).

No, when I looked at all of the steps involved, it appeared to be a bit beyond my meager computer skills. Additionally, the method shown to remove and then reinstall the calendar indicates that the calendar and the mail apps are integrated, and since my Outlook is working just fine, I decided to not mess with it.
