You are correct, I only have the iso downloaded yesterday. I used UltraISO utility to load the image to a virtual drive (K, on my machine).

A program isn't exactly necessary for mounting an ISO, unless you would want more features of course.

I just used the ISO yesterday created for installing Windows 10 on a VM and confirmed it is the 1607 version.
I also confirmed that the IMAGE HEALTH tool shows the right version, this makes me think that you have the November update installed instead of the Anniversary update.

Please run "winver" (without quotes) in a search command (windows logo + r) and press enter, this gives a pop-up with the installed Windows version.

I'll be darned! Windows version 1511 build 10586.45. I also found a directory on my c: drive called ESD. It has the file structure similar to the iso file. So, should I start over with imagehealth, after ejecting K:? Which option to use?
I really do appreciate your guidance.

Use the restorehealth source option, but this time with the right version

As Sir Arthur Conan Doyle had Sherlock Holmes say: "Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth." Great job, axe0!
