WOL doesn't work if hibernate is activated

This problem drove me nuts and I tried every possible BIOS setting also went from Windows 10 own Broadcom drivers to older which didn't change anything. Then I found out it is related to hibernate, not using hibernate, but just having it activated. I always had it deactivated under Windows 8.1 and remembered about it just now deactivating it... (powercfg /hibernate off) and now WOL works perfectly fine again, in all states, S3-S5 (STR, hibernate, power off). If activated, WOL just works in S3, not S4 or S5. If deactivated, it works fine in S3 and most important, also S5.

I guess this is some bug related to Windows 10 or the Broadcom drivers of Windows 10?

Not many people actually use WOL.
I always advise to LOCK the computer, switch off the Monitor, but leave it on.
The difference in power usage between Stand-by and "awake" are not that much, but with Stand-by everything needs to start before you can actually do something :)

Your PC should perform tasks like backups during the night :)

What? What does that have to do with what I asked about? I dont want to be rude, thanks for your answer, but...

When I ask something, it does make sense, alright? I don't ask into the horizon without it having deep insight and I already tried to solve it myself.

I need WOL on this specific PC, because it is headless (doesnt have a monitor or keyboard/mouse connected to it). It is a pure gaming/streaming PC for Stream In-Home streaming.
