High RAM usage, and another issue

So computer is feeling kinda laggy, decided to see what the cpu/memory usage was, I have 8GB of RAM (2x 4gb sticks) and it shows I'm at 77%, the highest usage is Firefox showing 36.5% mem usage, but if I change that value to 'value', it shows 534.6 MB of usage......ram usage should be less than 7%?????

also why can you not click and drag files into folders now? When I download new programs, I like to put them in their own individual folder so I know what the .exe is because some of the time, the file makes no sense as to what the program actually is....

Post a screenshot of Task manager, Performance tab, showing memory information.

Drag and drop works just fine in Win 10, if not on your system something's not right (obviously the case with the mem issue). Have you considered a clean install?

The problem is the Non Paged pool usage which at 3.3 GB is many times a reasonable value. This is most likely a driver problem. Sorry I can't help further with that.

It is best to post screenshots on the forum as many members will not go off site to view them.

Indeed, this is almost always a non-paged pool issue. Typically that means a device driver is leaking memory. It can be hard to figure out which one it is, but you have a lot of applications running. Most often the problem is related to a network driver, or a graphics drivers.

I almost always see this problem in relation to Steam clients, or BF4 clients. I don't know if you're running these or not, if so, I suggest disabling them and seeing if the problem persists. However, you are also running a bunch of adobe stuff, so that may also be triggering the problem.

Rammap (a program made by Microsoft that you can download) will help finding which .sys (driver file) is causing the issue.
