Selective sleep mode.

Windows 10 Pro 64bit, winver: 18362.356: For the past 25 plus days all our devices have experienced a problem with sleep mode. Starting the devices and allowing all our apps/programs to load and then work uninterrupted…the devices will go into sleep mode either on battery or plugged in, when left unattended.
Now after waking up the devices…none will go back into sleep mode. I have used many different webpages to set up the power settings, and Command Prompt entries, with no results for seeking an answer for constant ON…but sleep will not occur again. Shut the devices down, reboot, and sleep occurs, it does not matter the power mode!
I have removed certain apps that were updated around the time the problem started, and the problem continues. I have not removed the 2 ms updates that also were installed around the same time.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem…or maybe has an answer?

All affected HP models are:
ENVY X360-15t-w100 CTO
DV7-2000 CTO
DV7-6b75nr
Spectre x360 13-ac003na
ENVY 17t-k000 CTO

All the above suffered the same sleep issues during the same time frame!
and it appears that just maybe no one else has suffered the same issues!!
All up to date, all windows 10 Pro.

After spending most of my Friday…I have found the culprit that stops sleep on all our laptops…well
at least 3, so far.

Has a thread to my problem, and I referenced the thread to troubleshoot, and I have posted a
couple of comments myself. An update to Firefox has an audio connection that is
in constant use…hence causing the non-sleep issue. What is even more weird…EDGE
has the same audio error, which means using EDGE: the computers will not sleep.
The silly audio notification of new email is the cause of all the problems!
Right now I/we are back to using the trusted IE 11!...but do not have access to our password manager…just a PITA. We can use the 2 browsers but have to remember to shut them down because as has happened in the past 30 days...the computers will run until the battery power is depleted.

Hi AndreTen.
The only common 'add-on' is Enpass, password manager...should have nothing to do with the audio streams that are connected to the browsers...plus the audio notifications with receiving new email has only been occuring for the past 4 weeks here with Firefox and EDGE!
I left this message up and connected to EDGE and the computer did not sleep for 40+ minutes

I still use webmail...so if I only have one tab open for my mail, I still get audio connection(shown in "Command prompt") with either of the stated browsers...no other tabs/no music/no audio selected! Close both/either if only one is up...no errors report in Command Prompt...and sleep occurs. now working on the 4th device
