CPU temperature limits in Windows 10
Hi,
I am having strange problems with my desktop & laptop with W10 10240 installed.
I have a Toshiba Portege ultrabook with i5 2520m cpu, which usually ran at high temperatures under W8.1 consuming up to 55W. Now the temperature won't go above 80 degrees Celsius, which is also the point when the fan starts kicking in... Which means I now have a very quiet and eco-friendly (max 35W) laptop, which I don't like! Is there a way of disabling the CPU temp throttling? I have disabled Turboboost and changed from dynamic frequency to always high in BIOS with no luck.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?
A similar problem is with my desktop with FX8320, which now achieves 6.500rpm @ 70°C with 50% cpu load!
And yes, I know, shorter lifespan, ecology and similar bs, but I just don't care about that, since it costs me too much of my time swearing over the slow performance... I would just like it to achieve 100°C again with full power!
