    1st build

I have a nice little build at PC Parts Picker. I built one at Micro Center(20miutes away) o.l. but they removed it. Don't know why.
Anyway, would you go to MC or go through PCPP?
I guess I am referring to shipping, prices, returns and trouble.
    Thanks

I would buy most if not all of the parts thru Amazon for the best return policy around.
Absolutely free returns if any part is faulty within 30 days if the part says "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com".

I would buy from them even if it cost a couple of dollars extra.

Newegg is also a great source for parts.

+1 for Newegg.com. I also like to use Tigerdirect.

Newegg has a bad return policy.
If you receive of a defective part, you must pay for return shipping in advanced.
Then wait until it is received in their return center, tested to make sure its faulty.
Then they will ship you a replacement.
I had to do this once for a video card and it was almost three weeks before I received a replacement.

Amazon, sends a prepaid return shipping label thru email within a few minutes.
You fill out a small return form on their site.
Very short turn around time, usually within a week.

    Appreciate it.
With Micro Center 20 minutes away it sees the way to go for the basic build anyway..

This is true.....for anyone who orders from there as a regular buyer. If you go "Premier" then everything is free or expedited.
    Newegg.com - Newegg Premier

    Amazon has something similar..."Prime"
    Amazon Prime

+1 on the Newegg premier. and given how infrequent that parts arrive bad Newegg is still a great place to get parts from.

Paying for Premier is equal to paying for return shipping in advance.
There are far more faulty part's shipped out from them than some are willing to admit.
