Nope, nothing like that. Just OC settings, which I've been using, then main board settings and eco settings.

I found out that OCCT and Cinebench show most errors if anything is wrong. AMD Overdrive shows just about most accurate temp and Voltage readings. AOD shows Temperature margin, margin to max temp when CPU would start throttling as AMD doesn't have accurate temp readings no matter which program you use, specially on idle which can be ignored, only at full load it would resemble an accurate readings. Any margin 10c or higher means you're really good.
No need to run any tests for too long, as soon as temps and voltages stabilize and a bit longer, it means it's stable enough.

Chuck, you don't have to run Prime95. You can run something that puts enough strain on the CPU to kick it into turbo. A lot of programs will do that and not generate as much heat and strain on the components.
Even CPU-Z has a stress CPU option. Handy for checking out what voltages are doing quickly.

I have the Intel G3258 pentium aniversary edition processor rated @ 3.2ghz, running @ 4.5ghz on a MSI Z97 PC Mate mother board with 16gb Gskill Ripjaw ram and Samsung Evo 850 256gb drive.

I have had it as high as 4.9ghz and feel that there is much more headroom in this processor......but 4.5ghz is plenty good for what I do daily.

A bit of improvement after installing 1866 MHz RAM. Super stable and Cinebench results jumped by 12%.

Yes, it is stable. This is my daily driver. I am on a custom water loop. This system can do just over 5ghz, but my chip is a pig. It needs 1.65v to do it.

Doubt you'd see any benefit of those couple hundred MHz. Better to be super stable than super fast. Which stepping is that processor ? Ones with 0 get best OC capabilities.

Not sure what you mean by stepping. The 5ghz OC is stable. I just don't want to pump that much voltage constantly. You only see the difference in bench marks and single threaded apps. Boot times and app start ups are the same.
