    Liqiuid cooler question.

I have a 3 year old, unused Kraken X40 Liquid Cooler and i was wondering if its still usable? I am wondering if it sitting unused that long will affect anything.

Also, it says on the box that it supports Intel 1155, 1156, 1366 and 2011, but would it fit on a Intel Core i7-6700K Skylake LGA1151?

All in one coolers are closed loop so nothing should happen to them when not in use, providing no damage was done, kinked hoses etc.
Don't know if it would fit 1151 socket though, you may want to look at their site or ask them.

Really I doubt anyone can answer your question. We don't know the condition of the tubing or how it was stored. Why not hook it up outside the case and run it for a while and see if the pump works and if there are any leaks. As far as the 1151 socket, that socket is compatible with 1155,1156 coolers.

Cool, thanks! I'll test it outside the case.

It should fit all 115x sockets. My old H80 that I used to have said the same as what your box says but fit perfectly fine on my i5-6600K.
